Hi, I'm Una đź‘‹

PhD student in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan, advised by Prof. Z. Morley Mao in the RobustNet Lab.

Research

My research sits at the intersection of network systems and machine learning systems. I’m interested in how ML can make networks more adaptive and efficient, and how careful systems design can make ML more reliable and deployable — especially in resource-constrained environments.

⚙️ ML Systems Efficiency

Making large multimodal models cheaper and faster to serve.

🏥 Medical AI

ML systems for clinical screening in rural settings.

Before Michigan, I earned my B.S. in Computer Science and Data Science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where I worked with Prof. Paul Barford in the DNS Research Group on reinforcement learning for structured domain-name generation.
